Hey Guys-Just starting get the Ole girl ready for the Trek to Mentone. Hoping to bring Lance & the boys-the whole crew. I just walked around her to see if anything got worse after the winter. Doesn't seem to be any major concerns-just problems I had before-but- I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to stick the seams of the large aluminum panels on the side walls down. You can see one just ahead of the rear wheel in this picture, I would appreciate any ideas-Thanks-Al

Al, I would try that double sided white foam tape. Pull the panel out enough to get it in there then as you peel the backing off press the panels together. It's pretty sticky stuff and you can get it at Lowes, HD, or your local hardware store.

Down here they have this glue called Gorilla Glue, It would be just perfect for that. It even dries pretty quick. I get it at Walmart down here.

How about short self tapping screws?

If there is a support or stud type thing behind the joint, oval head sheet metal screws and finish washers in stainless would look very neat evenly spaced, just another thought.

:'(Hey guys-I did find another problem with the ole girl-it seems someone shot my passenger side window with a BB gun-you know-that little hollow crater it makes-Well- it has developed a crack shooting out from crater-with freezing & thawing. Not big-but about 3 inches long-enough to bother me. Anybody ever have any luck with the "windshield repair kits" they sell? Appreciate any help-Thanks-Al

I had a chip in my old rangers windshield fixed at a local shop down here and it lasted alright. Its a little yellow at first till you give it a day or two for the resin to set up good but after that it looks like nothing ever happened. And it only cost me like 35 bucks but that was back a few years ago though so it is probably higher now.
